Hungarian Folk Song Class

This 4 week long mini session is a great way to connect to Hungarian culture and music and language! If you love music and are interested in becoming familiar with the tune and lyrics to some well known Hungarian songs, join this 4 week class.. The instructor will lead the translation of the song with help from attendees, Most importantly, the idea is to enjoy learning about the song!

But don’t worry, one doesn’t need to know a lot of Hungarian to enjoy this class. Everyone can participate as much or as little as they want. In addition to looking at the lyrics, there will also be discussion about the cultural context of the song. If you want to expand your knowledge of Hungarian music, this is the class for you!
