Hungarian Pop Classics Class

This class is a great way to connect to Hungarian culture and music and language! If you love music and are interested in learning some of the Hungarian pop classics, join this 4 week class.. Each class will feature a popular Hungarian song. The instructor will lead the translation of the song with help from attendees, Most importantly, the idea is to enjoy learning about the song! But don’t worry, one doesn’t need to know a lot of Hungarian to enjoy this class. Everyone can participate as much or as little as they want. In addition to looking at the lyrics, there will also be discussion about the cultural context of the song. If you like pop, jazz, or musicals, and want to expand your knowledge of Hungarian music, this is the class for you!

Please be prepared to have your camera on during class even if you don’t plan to actively contribute.
