These are large chicken eggs, blown out, and are beautifully painted. They are not identical. They have a loop so they can be hung on an egg tree for the Easter holidays.

The tradition of decorating and giving eggs is a long standing one in Europe. This folk tradition takes on many forms from painting to wax resist to carving and more.
