Some thoughts from Daniel, a workshop participant:

“If you are thinking about writing a story of your ancestors, I highly recommend attending Reka’s four part Family History Writing Workshop. She is very methodical on her approach to help you build your story. She will guide you step-by-step as you begin. How to organize. Addressing your goals, audience, facts, sources, etc. How to take content, direct of indirect and incorporate as you progress. She will also furnish you with websites where you can further research your ancestors.
And much more.
She is there each week to assist, review your story, offer suggestions and encourage you.
I thought I was close to a complete story but she has opened my mind and broaden my ideas of additional content to include to fully engage my family member’s interest. Not just documents, but a life story.
The benefit you receive from this workshop will fully out weigh any investment.”
