Our Policies
Our goal is to process and ship your order within 5-7 business days of the order being placed. However, during November and December this is not always possible. If you are purchasing something and have a firm deadline for receiving it, it is important you communicate this to us!
Return Policy
We want you to love everything you order from The Hungarian Store! If something isn’t right, we’re here to help.
Returns accepted within 30 days of delivery
Here’s how it works:
- Items must be unused and in original condition
- Customer covers the cost of return shipping
- A 20% restocking fee applies to all returns
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable – if you were charged a separate shipping fee, that amount will not be refunded
- Refunds are issued by check within 5-7 business days of receiving your return
About shipping costs: Whether shipping was included in your product price or charged separately, we pay real costs to ship every order. Original shipping charges (when charged separately) are non-refundable. The restocking fee on all returns helps cover these costs and handling time.
If we made a mistake: If you received the wrong item, a damaged item, or we made an error, we’ll make it right! Contact us immediately and we’ll cover all costs, waive the restocking fee, and issue a full refund including any shipping charges.

Our Language Classes
Our language classes are conducted live and are not recorded. Our classes are dependent on a minimum number of students. Our instructors are counting on students who are interested in learning and engaged in each class. There is a 100% refund if you cancel 30 days or more prior to the first class, a 50% refund if you cancel 15-29 days prior to the first class, and no refund if you cancel less than two weeks before the first class.
